# Installation

Revive stations for ESX. Players carry an injured player to a station NPC and revive them there, but only while not enough medics are on duty. Meant as a fallback so the server stays playable without a medic online, without making the medic job useless.

### Dependencies

* es\_extended (ESX Legacy)
* ox\_lib
* ox\_target, only when you use the target interaction mode
* esx\_ambulancejob, or any other death and revive system (see below)

### Steps

1. Drop the `l-revivestation` folder into your `resources` directory.
2. Add it to your `server.cfg`, after es\_extended, ox\_lib and ox\_target:

   ```
   ensure l-revivestation
   ```

   If the folder sits inside a bracket folder that is already ensured (for example `[lscripts]`), no extra line is needed.
3. Open `config.lua` and set the language, the stations, the medic jobs and the interaction mode.
4. Optional: set the Discord webhook in `server_config.lua`.
5. Restart the server.

No database table is needed.

### Using it in game

Walk up to a station NPC and open it with ox\_target or the text prompt, depending on your config. The panel lists every injured player around the station with a headshot, name and the distance in metres. Pick a treatment, hit revive, and the treatment runs for its configured time. There is a search field for the list, and the sort order follows your config, see Configuration.

The treatment keeps running when the panel is closed, and the panel picks the progress bar back up when you open the station again.

The list keeps itself up to date while it is open. A player who gets revived by a medic or by somebody else at the station drops out of it, a player who goes down next to the station shows up in it, and the medic counter follows as medics come and go.

Reviving is refused while the configured number of medics is on duty.

Running a different death and revive system only takes `shared/ambulance.lua`, see Another ambulance script.
