# About lscripts

lscripts builds FiveM server resources with a focus on clean code, a consistent look and proper documentation.

* **Framework.** Most resources are built for ESX Legacy, some with wider compatibility.
* **One design.** Every resource follows the same style, so menus and notifications feel like one set instead of a pile of unrelated scripts.
* **Two languages.** Every resource ships English and German out of the box, picked in `config.lua` with `Config.Locale`.
* **Server first.** The gameplay logic is validated on the server, and no resource changes your database on its own. You import the SQL once, the script only checks for it on start.
* **Version checks.** Each resource tells you in the server console when a newer version is available, so you know when to update.

### Free and paid

Free resources are open source on GitHub at [github.com/lscripts0](https://github.com/lscripts0). Paid resources are sold through Tebex and protected with the Cfx.re Asset Escrow system, see Asset escrow. On the paid scripts the config, locales, adapters and the complete UI stay open, so you can fit them to your server without touching the protected logic.

### Getting help

Read the resource's own pages first, the installation and configuration steps cover the common questions. For anything else, reach out through the lscripts community and have your resource name and server console output ready so we can help faster.
